performs.

Wind, water, warmth and quiet — what a steel opening is asked to do in New Zealand, and how the range answers, suite by suite.

Figures we publish are
figures we can stand behind.

Performance figures by suite are drawn from the system catalogues behind our profiles and confirmed per opening on shop drawings — because a real number belongs to a real opening: its size, its glazing make-up, its wind zone. Where a suite's specification is still provisional, we say so on its page and publish nothing rather than something close.

External units are governed by wind zone — the majority of what we build sits under 2.7m × 1.2m per sash, with larger openings engineered case by case. Our frames are Steel Fabricator Certified (SFC) by Steel Construction New Zealand, and NZS 4211 performance data by suite is available when you enquire. Test documentation is available on request.

Warmth is the question we're asked most, so it has its own range: the thermally broken suites run a cast-in isolator through the frame's centre line to close the cold path — the deeper the suite, the thicker the insulated unit it takes. For coastal sites, performance is a coating question as much as a glazing one: see finishes & hardware for the corrosion-protection process every unit gets.

Steel joinery is complicated to make — every joint welded, ground and finished by hand. Bring us in early with your architect and the timeline takes care of itself. Specify it at the start, not the end.
